Walk 134 miles (the distance from Dudley to Wimbledon) over the next six months. You don’t actually need to walk to Wimbledon just the same distance. And if you complete the challenge you'll be entered into a prize draw to win a 12-month fitness membership at Dudley Council's leisure centre.

Walking to school, work or college, dancing at a party, skipping to your healthy hub, Nordic walking, jogging, strolling around the park and running outdoors or on a treadmill all count.

It’s free to take part just enquire at your nearest healthy hub - Mary Stevens Park in Stourbridge, Huntingtree Park in Halesowen, Netherton Park, Silver Jubilee Park in Coseley and the Dell Stadium in Brierley Hill.

Once you’ve enrolled you’ll be given a free pack containing your very own pedometer, a record card and a healthy towns pen. You’ll also be able to show your progress by moving your very own healthy towns mascot across the Walk to Wimbledon chart at your hub. Everyone who completes the challenge gets a healthy towns rosette.
